  REQUIREMENTS FOR A MINOR IN WOMEN'S AND GENDER STUDIES


To fulfill a minor in Women's and Gender Studies a student must complete 18 hours of course work as described below:

1.  Introduction to Women's and Gender Studies (WGS 275)

2.  15 credits of WGS electives of the student's choice.

  From time to time other disciplines offer courses relevant to Women's Studies, usually as Topics courses. Recent examples include Gender, Culture, and Film (COMM390) and Feminist Philosophers (PHIL390). Such upper division courses may also count toward the Women's Studies minor with the approval of the Women's Studies Director.
