SALARY: $11-14/hour Hours per Week: 40

JOB DESCRIPTION: The primary responsibility is to perform NSF 61 faucet testing for a corporate analytical services Chemistry laboratory. Testing includes solution preparation, exposure testing of faucets, sample management, and contact with underwriter's laboratory field engineers. The ideal candidate would possess good organizational and teamwork skills. Mechanical aptitude is a plus. Secondary responsibilities include wet Chemistry analysis for environmental applications. Completion of General Chemistry and Organic Chemistry Lab classes (or equivalent experience) constitutes the minimum completed coursework for this position. Co-op in Research & Development. Additionally, the co-op will do necessary preparation prior to the instrumentation stage of the testing procedure. Will be trained. Position in Research and Development Decorative Coatings Division (North America). This division is responsible for formulating and testing paint formulas that will be sold to the architectural market (used for houses, decks, etc.).

JOB DESCRIPTION: Projects may include any or all of the following areas of finance: Attach Insurance bills to the general ledger. Keep up with employees on COBRA or LOA. Billing. Determine flex spending reconciliation forfeiture from 2001 and reconcile schedule for 2002. Develop database with individuals, positions, potential bill rates, etc. Tie fixed asset system to SEA and actual assets. Assist with getting project accounting information into a database where it is more accessible. Gather data from 2001-2002 by project. Determine gross margin by project/client. Gather data on pass-throughs invoiced/incurred to comply with SAB 101. Assist with travel issues from recent merger with Celeris (filing, reviewing ER's, itineraries, etc). Assist with 2003 budget such as setting up files, preliminary research. Create master list of available pass-through expenses for project contracts. JOB DESCRIPTION: Work with In-Plant Services Manager (IPSM) and environmental teams to ensure maximum efficiency and compliance of their waste streams, in addition to providing support on waste stream mapping, RRR Program development and implementation, third party vendor management, and cost savings through upstream analysis. This position offers a wide range of experience and real world knowledge in the field of industrial environmental management. Part of on-site team for all hazardous and non-hazardous waste management. Assist IPSM with the management of core and non-core business; generate written projects proposals and other correspondence as needed to ensure quality communication between our client, the IPSM and Waste Management.
---Assist with the supervision and management of all third party waste, environmental vendors, and sub-contractors on the
industrial customer sites. This includes all preparation, scheduling, and tracking of all shipments of recyclables, trash, hazardous, and non-hazardous wastes.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Develop visual design and/or layout of product artwork, marketing materials and packaging. Work with Print Production Manager, Print Production Assistant, and other staff to complete a broad range of marketing communications materials. Support the website with image creation. Select typefaces, produce style sheets, galley and proof pages. Scan and prepare photos for halftone usage, prepare color separations, create illustrations, charts, graphics. Should have COMM 250 or COMM 405, or some other graphics knowledge. Strong PageMaker and Adobe Photoshop knowledge. FrontPage knowledge would also be helpful. JOB DESCRIPTION: Introduce youngsters to the aquatic environment and the fun of fishing. Ignite in them an awareness and appreciation of the outdoor world. Work with Parks and Rec department summer day camp and playground programs. Take youngsters who have been instructed on aquatic biology and angling ethics on fishing trips to ponds and state parks. JOB DESCRIPTION: Write the instructions for operating and servicing equipment. Work with engineers in the test labs and other departments to learn about the equipment and write/organize materials for instruction manuals. On-the-job training in technical writing, and in the technical equipment in order to write accurate information. The instructions are published in paper manuals and online. Use a variety of software for authoring and publishing. A fair amount of technical inclination is required. Strong writing, grammar, and PC skills. Must be able to learn new software packages quickly. Courses in English, Journalism, and Technical Communication are helpful. Knowledge of Windows and Word required. Other tools like RoboHelp, Adobe Photoshop, Corel DRAW, or Adobe Acrobat may be learned. Writing samples or other portfolio materials will be needed in the interview.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Under the direction and guidance of the Special Projects Coordinator, this position is an integral part of the Marketing team, responsible for assisting with marketing efforts and coordination activities for the Blanket Days for the Homeless campaign. Implement a marketing strategy to promote the Blanket Days for the Homeless campaign. Assist in implementing promotional strategies for Blanket Days related to television, radio, newspapers, and other media publications. Develop and implement a web promotional campaign for Blanket Days using the Chapter’s web site and other Internet
capabilities. Work with the Graphic Design Specialist to update collateral materials, including flyers, posters and collection barrel signage. Solicit schools, churches, community groups, businesses, government agencies and other organizations to participate in the campaign and provides them the necessary support during the campaign. Coordinate and assist with the logistics of the Blanket Days campaign, including distributing promotional materials, collection receptacles and coordinating blanket pick-ups for volunteers. Prepare marketing communications materials, including newsletter copy, briefings, visual and
audio presentations, and other items related to Blanket Days. Develop and implement an internal Blanket Days campaign for Red Cross volunteers and paid staff. Prepare a final report on the Blanket Days campaign results and makes
recommendations for the following year’s campaign. Junior or higher level. Demonstrated knowledge in creating, implementing and evaluating marketing or public relations programs. Experience in Internet marketing and e-commerce
