Anthony Viscogliosi (CASL '84) -- Campaign Co-Chair

Anthony Viscogliosi has 20 years of experience as an entrepreneur, CEO, board member, leading Wall Street analyst, author and lecturer. Prior to cofounding Viscogliosi Brothers, LLC in 1999, Tony was employed for 11 years with several regional brokerage and investment banking firms as an institutional sell-side equity research analyst.

Mr. Viscogliosi'ss most recent position prior to founding Viscogliosi Brothers was as Senior Vice President and Director of Medical Technology at Stifel, Nicolaus & Co., Inc. In that role, he was responsible for establishing its New York office and its medical technology institutional sales and research presence. Over the course of Tony's career as a research analyst, he has followed general healthcare, environmental services and waste management, medical technology and musculoskeletal/orthopedic companies.

Tony received his BS in economics from the UM-D College of Arts, Sciences, and Letters in 1984 and is a Lieutenant Commander, United States Navy Reserve.

Doug Krizanic (SOM '81) -- Campaign Co-Chair

Doug Krizanic is a Senior Partner with Deloitte Tax LLP, providing international tax and compensation consulting to multinational companies and their employees on international assignment. He has more than 24 years experience with the firm, having started there as a University of Michigan-Dearborn intern in 1979; he graduated from the UM-D School of Management in 1981 and received his CPA certification in 1982. Some of the clients he has served include Visteon, Volkswagen of America, Textron, TRW Automotive, Owens Illinois and Monsanto.

Doug has been a tireless volunteer for the School of Management. He currently serves on the Dean's Advisory Committee for the School of Management and has helped with student recruitment and fundraising for the school. He is a member of the Detroit Athletic Club and Birmingham Country Club. His wife, Tina, is also a UM-Dearborn graduate and he has two young daughters.

Bryan Becker (SOM '69)

Bryan Becker spent his career in the Detroit office of Ernst & Young, serving principally the middle market client base in the assurance practice.  Promoted to Partner in 1982, he was responsible for services to 25 or more clients each year until his retirement in September of 2004. His current position is Executive Vice President at Trustinus, LLC, an executive search firm.

Bryan directed the Michigan Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year program for 16 years and was responsible for on-campus recruiting at UM-Dearborn and several other schools for many years. During Bryan's tenure at Ernst & Young, the firm hired approximately 200 individuals from the University of Michigan-Dearborn for employment in the audit, tax and consulting practices. He was also a member of the three-person assessment team to understand and challenge the lack of achieving AACHB accreditation; he published a white paper that served as the origin of the successful process to achieve accreditation.

Bryan is currently a member of the AICPA, MACPA, Orchard Lake Country Club, the Detroit Society of Clubs and board member of several not-for-profit organizations. Bryan was a founding member of the Dean's Advisory Committee of the School of Management and served on the previous UM Capital Campaign Committee for the original building to house the School of Management. He graduated from UM-D's School of Management in 1969.

Ed Elliott (SOM '67)

Ed Elliott graduated in the spring of 1967 from the UM-Dearborn business co-op program with a BBA concentration in accounting/finance. He began his career with Touche Ross & Company in the summer of 1967. After a brief time in the U.S. Army, Ed re-joined the tax department at Touche Ross and was elevated to partner in 1976 in the specialty area of corporate organization/reorganization with an emphasis on international tax and treaty protocols. During his tenure at Touche Ross, Ed served as co-chair of the World Trade Association from 1977-78, working on the Competent Authority Procedural recommendation for implementing Standards for Tax Treaty disputes.

Ed resigned the partnership in early 1984 to co-found FCIC, Inc. — a provider of project financing and consultation — and Franklin Enterprises, a private equity placement operation. He stepped down from the management of the then merged operation of FCIC and Franklin Enterprises in the fall of 2001 to the capacity of Non-Executive Chairman.

Ed currently serves on the Council of Regents of Loyola University of Chicago and the Board of Advisors to the Chairman of the Notre Dame High School for Girls in Chicago. He is a non-resident member of The Detroit Athletic Club, a life member of the Alumni Association of the University of Michigan and a trustee for the Chair of Urology at the University of Michigan Hospitals.

Terry McElroy, Sr. (SOM '76)

Terry McElroy is the Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of The Auto Club Group, which is a billion dollar enterprise that provides an array of AAA-branded automobile, travel, insurance and financial services to its 4.1 million members throughout the Midwest. In this position, Terry directs all financial aspects of the organization and is responsible for managing a variety of back-office operations. Terry started his career at Ernst & Young and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He graduated from UM-D School of Management in 1976.

Terry chaired the UM-Dearborn School of Management Capital Campaign Committee in the mid '90s and currently serves on the UM-Dearborn School of Management Dean's Advisory Committee and the Business Roundtable.  He also serves as chair of Metropolitan Affairs Coalition, a public/private partnership of business, labor and government that addresses public policy issues affecting the economic vitality and quality of life in southeast Michigan.

Tim O'Brien (CASL '76)

Tim O'Brien is the Ford Motor Company Assistant Chief of Staff and is responsible for representation of the company in its nongovernmental external relationships. These responsibilities include the Ford Motor Company Fund, Corporate Citizenship Strategy and Reporting, NGO Engagement and Environmental Strategy. Prior to being named to that position in December 2002, Tim was Ford Vice President-Real Estate, to which he was named in November 2001. He joined Ford in 1973.

Tim earned a bachelor's degree in political science from the UM-D College of Arts, Sciences, and Letters in 1976 and a Juris Doctorate from the Detroit College of Law at Michigan State University. He is the author of Clean Air Law and Regulation, Title II Motor Vehicle Provisions (Bureau of National Affairs, 1992) and Ford & ISO 14001 (McGraw Hill, 2001).

Tim is active in many community organizations and is a member of the boards of directors of the Automotive National Heritage Area, Conservation International, GreenWays Initiative, United Way of Southeast Michigan, Oakwood Healthcare Systems, Greater Downtown Partnership, Nonprofit Enterprise at Work Inc., Dearborn Country Club, The Parade Company and the China-U.S. Center for Sustainable Development. He is a member of the Citizens Advisory Council of the University of Michigan-Dearborn, working chairman of the Southeast Michigan Water Quality Consortium and a member of the board of trustees for the Ford Motor Company Fund.

Lizabeth Ardisana (ENG '84)

As Chief Executive Officer of ASG Renaissance, Lizabeth Ardisana is responsible for the company's day-to-day operations and financial management of the company. Lizabeth directs the company's marketing, supplier development and environmental services departments and provides consulting and management support to clients on several projects. She graduated from UM-D with her Master's of Science in Engineering in 1984.

In 1987, Lizabeth and her partner formed Automotive Support Group (ASG) LLC and began working out of a spare room in their house. They were first hired by Ford to work on a vehicle fire prevention task force. As the company grew, they began placing additional engineers, program managers, marketing managers and public relations specialists on long-term assignments with Ford and other clients. Projects included engineering project management, environmental marketing and consulting, marketing and sales support, government advocacy/grant writing and minority supplier development. In 1997, ASG acquired Renaissance Systems Technologies — a Southfield, Mich.-based IT staffing firm — doubling its size to $20 million in revenues. At the same time, the company changed its name to ASG Renaissance.

Lizabeth was elected chairperson of the Michigan Hispanic Chamber of Commerce in 2003, becoming the first woman to chair the chamber's 30-member board. She also serves on the Kettering University Board of Trustees, Ford Hispanic Supplier Council and the advisory board of Focus:HOPE, a civil and human rights organization dedicated to overcoming racism, poverty and injustice.

Ron Modreski (ENG '65)

As a Principal at PM & I Consulting and as the owner of RAM Management Group, Ron Modreski consults in the area of organizational performance measurement (metrics) and improvement. He has developed these practical and successful techniques with excellent results during 35 years of industry experience in various management and senior executive roles in marketing/sales, business development, contract management, program management, quality, operations and general management.

Ron retired from Vickers Incorporated (currently Eaton Corporation, $7.5 billion sales) Aerospace- Marine-Defense Group in 1999 after holding a variety of positions at that company for 19 years. Ron served as Vice President/General Manager of the Electromechanical Division in Grand Rapids, Mich., from 1989-99. He oversaw marketing/sales, product/design engineering, program management, finance, contracts, manufacturing operations (multi-plants), quality and human resources. In that position, he held full P&L responsibility for over 450 employees. Prior to that, he served as Director of Quality-Vickers AMD Group from 1986-89 and General Marketing Manager-Vickers Aerospace Division from 1981-86. Both were located in Jackson, Miss.

Ron is a dedicated volunteer serving in key positions for a number of western Michigan charities. These include his current service on the Workforce Development Board for Kent/Allegan Counties Board of Directors; a long-term board member for Junior Achievement, Michigan Great Lakes; and the Advisory Board for the Grand Rapids Area Pre-College Engineering Program, to name a few. Ron has been an active volunteer for the College of Engineering and Computer Science at UM-Dearborn for the last several years. He graduated from UM-D in 1965.

Jim Giordano (SOM '79)

Jim Giordano is President and Chief Executive Officer of CareTech Solutions, Inc., a recognized leader in healthcare information technology outsourcing. In addition to overall management responsibilities, Jim provides leadership and vision for the continued growth of the organization by focusing on delivering services that result in client satisfaction over the long term. Previously, Jim served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of CareTech Solutions from 1999-2002. During that time, he was instrumental in growing the company from $54 million to over $100 million in annual revenue.

Jim has over 20 years of business and financial management experience. Before joining CareTech Solutions, he was with EDS for 13 years. Previous to that, he held management and leadership positions with Wang Laboratories and Unisys.

Jim holds an MBA from the University of Detroit-Mercy and a bachelor of science degree in finance and managerial economics from UM-Dearborn in 1979. He serves as chairman of the Alumni Board of Governors for UM-Dearborn and is a member of the Financial Executive International Organization.

Phil Roussey (ENG '66)

Phil is an Executive V.P. at Bell Microproducts, a $3.5 billion global value-added distribution organization specializing in the area of data storage and management. In 1987 he and three others founded Bell Microproducts and over the years he has held key executive positions in sales and marketing and is currently EVP of the Enterprise Solutions Division of the company. Previous to Bell Microproducts, Phil held the position of Executive VP of Marketing at Kierulff Electronics, another company in the technology distribution industry.

Phil graduated from UM-D in 1966 with a B.S in Electrical Engineering.  He participated in the co-operative education program at the University at that time as an intern at General Motors Corporation.  After graduation Phil became an instrumentation engineer at  Texas Instruments and earned his Masters Degree in Computer Science at Southern Methodist University in Dallas.

Phil lives in San Jose California with his wife Mona and has two daughters and four grandchildren living in southeastern Michigan.
