The mission of Budget Services is to administer and coordinate the planning, development, and implementation of the university's budgeting and allocation processes, while effectively providing assistance and budgetary analysis in a professional, timely, and accurate manner to both internal and external constituents.

Major Responsibilities

• Conduct the annual budget cycle in accordance with the established guidelines set by the University of Michigan Regents and the University of Michigan-Dearborn administration.
• Provide resourceful analysis, forecasting, and compressions to support campus decision-making and planning processes.
• Prepare budgetary report to assist the University community in establishing, maintaining, and transferring funds, make recommendations for budget modifications, and train appropriate personnel.
• Provide statistical analysis and reports for internal and external requests pertaining to faculty, staff, and budget data.
