Dearborn, MI – Head Coach Mary Pinkowski announced today that open tryouts for the 2008-2009 women's basketball team will be held on Sunday, April 13, 2008 from 7:00pm-9:00pm in the UMD Fieldhouse. Interested players should contact Coach Pinkowski with any questions.

Grand Rapids, MI – The lady Wolves recieved several honors last week when the WHAC made their end of season awards annoucement. Sophomore forward/center Kandace Perryman and junior guard/forward Chanel Bridges were both named to the All-WHAC Third Team. Freshman guard/forward Katie Roberts was named to the All-Whac Newcomer Team and freshman forward Gina Moreno was named as the UMD representative on the Champions of Character Team.
