Livonia, MI - The Michigan-Dearborn men's basketball team ended the WHAC season with a 56-52 win over the Madonna University Crusaders. The games went back and forth during most of the first half, but a late three-point basket by Jonathon Cannon and put back by Junior Brian Mills gave the Wolves a 31-25 lead at halftime. To start the second half, Michigan-Dearborn kept firing on all cylinders. With just under 13 minutes to play, the Wolves had a 13-point lead. The Crusaders would claw their way back into the game. Late field goals by Junior Myke White and Freshman Nick Kosovich sealed the 56-52 victory for the Wolves. Senior Shane De'Nooijer led the Wolves with 15 points and 13 rebounds. White and Cannon each had 10 points for the Wolves. The Wolves will next play on Monday at Marygrove College at 7:00pm. |
