The Philanthropy Tour was initiated in summer 2009 during UM-Dearborn's 50th anniversary to commemorate philanthropic and innovative contributions of students, staff, community members, and alumni.  It was created for the  campus community to learn more about the history and development of the University of Michigan-Dearborn and to showcase 50 years of philanthropy on campus.  The tour highlights individual stories of those who have played an instrumental role in the growth of our campus, each person contributing to the University by means of service, time, and resources.
