Prior to her position, she attended UM-Dearborn, where she earned a bachelor’s degree with distinction in English in 1994 and a master’s degree in library and information in 1998 from the University of Michigan. After graduation, Davis served as a member of the SI Alumni Society Executive Board for five years and its president for two of those years.
Davis grew up in Canton and has a background in customer service, research and publishing, which pushed her to become a librarian in 1998. Since 2008, she has held her dream job as director of the library and feels that the community has improved since the library was established in 1980. She is dedicated to continuing the library’s award-winning excellence and lives in Plymouth with her husband, Timothy, ’03, ’06 COB.
