TYPE OF SPONSORSHIPS
The University of Michigan-Dearborn is a licensed 501 (c) (3) charitable organization (tax identification number 38-6006309). Therefore, the sponsorships are tax deductible less any goods services received. Each sponsor and donor will receive a gift receipt from the university. 100% of all donations (except for door prize donations) go directly to the Legacy Scholarship Endowment Fund. The golf fees cover the full cost of this event.
Event Sponsor -- $5,000
There will be only one event sponsor. The event sponsor's name will become a part of the official title of the event and will appear in publication information, press releases and on event materials. The event sponsor is entitled to four complimentary golf packages and a deductible charitable contribution of $5,000. *
Gift Sponsor -- SOLD
There will be only one gift sponsor. The gift sponsor will be featured on the event item given to each golfer. The gift sponsor is entitled to one complimentary golf package.
Lunch Sponsor -- $1,500
There will be only one lunch sponsor. The lunch sponsor will be featured on a sign that will be displayed at the Clubhouse during lunch. The lunch sponsor is entitled to one golf package and a deductible charitable contribution of $1,500. *
Dinner Sponsor -- $1,500
There will be only one dinner sponsor. The dinner sponsor will be featured on a sign that will be displayed at the Clubhouse during dinner. The dinner sponsor is entitled to one golf package and a deductible charitable contribution of $1,500. *
Cart Sponsor -- $1,000
The cart sponsor will be featured on a placard that will be attached to the 70+ golf carts. The cart sponsor is entitled to one golf package and a deductible charitable contribution of $1,000. *
Silent Auction Sponsor -- $2,000
There will be only one silent auction sponsor. The silent auction sponsor will be featured on a sign that will be displayed at the Clubhouse during the silent auction. The silent auction sponsor is entitled to one golf package and a deductible charitable contribution of $1,500. *
Beverage Cart Sponsor -- $500
There will be only one beverage cart sponsor. The beverage cart sponsor will be featured on a placard that will be attached to the 2 beverage carts. The beverage cart sponsor is entitled to one golf package and a deductible charitable contribution of $500. *
Hole Sponsor -- $350
Businesses or individuals may sponsor a hole at the event and their name will appear on an attractive keepsake flag. The hole sponsor is entitled to one golf package and a deductible charitable contribution of $275. *
Hole Sponsor without Golf Package -- $275 (100-percent tax deductible contribution) *
Raffle Ticket Sponsor -- $300
There will be only one raffle ticket sponsor. The raffle ticket sponsor will be featured on the back of 1,000 raffle tickets that will be sold prior to and during the golf outing. The raffle ticket sponsorship is 100-percent tax deductible charitable contribution of $300. *
Putting Green Sponsor -- $225
The sponsor will be featured on an attractive sign on the putting green at the Clubhouse. The putting green sponsorship is 100-percent tax deductible charitable contribution of $225. *
Tee Sponsor -- $100 Tee # 1 or #10 Sponsor -- $150
Businesses or individuals may sponsor a tee at the event and their name will appear on an attractive sign at the tee box. All tee sponsorships are 100-percent tax deductible charitable contributions.
Event Donor -- Any General Donation, Certificate or Item
All general monetary donations are 100-percent tax deductible charitable contributions. *
Each certificate or item donor will receive a gift-in-kind receipt from the university for the value of the certificate or item. *
* Their name will appear on our web page, in local media sources, alumni e-communications and Legacy magazine, the official alumni publication of the University of Michigan-Dearborn received by more than 40,000 alumni and 500 businesses and community leaders.
