This includes recruitment of faculty and deans, and oversight for the campus library system, informational technology services, natural areas, sponsored research, institutional research, and arts programs. |

The Office of the Vice Chancellor for Government Relations represents the University of Michigan-Dearborn in dialogues with federal, state, and local governments, and presents the University's position in current and proposed legislation.
Vice Chancellor for Institutional Advancement
Thomas A. Baird, M.Ed
The Office of the Vice Chancellor for Institutional Advancement strengthens the institution through fund-raising, alumni relations, marketing and public relations. We support the institutional vision by fostering philanthropy among our constituents; engaging our alumni in the life of the campus; marketing our brand and its value to the larger community; and promoting public awareness and support for the institution and its mission.

The Vice Chancellor for Business Affairs is responsible for facilities planning and management; financial services and budget; general services; human resources and affirmative action; public safety and environmental health; and the Henry Ford Estate-Fair Lane.
Vice Chancellor for Enrollment Management and Student Life

The Vice Chancellor for Enrollment Management and Student Life is responsible for enrollment services, including admissions and orientation, financial aid, and registration and records; student support services including counseling, disability resource services, career services, academic support and tutoring, international student services, and health services and housing referrals; and co-curricular programs involving student activities, athletics, and recreation.
