The adventure will assist you in getting to know your future classmates - and yourself - a little better. The trip is designed to be challenging and FUN! Team-building skills are emphasized because as we all know...Wolves run in packs!
This is a great opportunity for personal growth, making new friends and learning what it means to be a Wolf at UM-Dearborn.
Date: August 20-23, 2012
Location: West Side of Michigan
Investment: $295 all inclusive
In it’s fourth year, the W.O.W. trip continues to grow and provide an unforgettable adventure for incoming students.
This four-day, three-night adventure will include transportation to/from the site, lodging, all meals, and unlimited opportunities to have fun through team and leadership building opportunities. In addition to a fun experience, this adventure will also engage you in active discussion with your peers and group leaders. The objectives of the W.O.W. trip are to not only create instant bonds between fellow classmates, faculty and staff at the University, but to remove you from your comfortable environment to challenge you in ways that will help better prepare you for college life.
By connecting with other incoming students, current students, and University faculty and staff, you will have the opportunity to share your hopes and fears about starting college around the campfire. Learn firsthand from faculty, staff and current students a skill set that will prove invaluable during your college experience. Attend W.O.W., make life long memories, and gain skills and friendships that will endure long after you earn your Michigan degree.
The mandatory pre-trip meeting on August 6 (6-8 pm) will cover everything you need to prepare for the trip. You will meet the current students and University staff that will be joining you in this experience. Bring your enthusiasm and excitement; this will be one adventure you won't soon forget!
