Mallory brings a wealth of development leadership experience to the university, having most recently served as associate vice president and chief development officer at Northern Illinois University (NIU), where she was also president and CEO of the NIU Foundation. In 14 years at NIU Mallory built a comprehensive development program, transformed a foundation board into a strong group of philanthropic leaders, directed a successful $150 million capital campaign and established a track record of working with faculty and deans to generate gifts to further teaching and research. Prior to joining NIU, Mallory was the senior director of development for major gifts at Syracuse University. In this role, she directed staff efforts during a $300 million campaign and led a strategic planning process to create a vision and establish program objectives and standards. Mallory has a unique understanding of the university and community. She grew up in Dearborn, and several family members are UM-Dearborn alumni. She spent more than 15 years working in alumni relations, development leadership and corporate and foundation relations for University of Michigan-Ann Arbor.

After spending 10 years fundraising for smaller, community-based non-profits in Detroit, Cecile joined the University development team in June 1999 as director of the annual fund. In her current position as associate vice chancellor, Cecile provides management oversight for development and alumni engagement, directs and coordinates all campus fundraising campaigns, and supports the communications operation to ensure continuity of communication and engagement with alumni and donors. Cecile also serves on various boards and committees both on and off campus. Among her many accomplishments, Cecile is credited for managing the successful capital campaign that ended in December 2008 and raised $46 million for the University.

Diane joined the development team at UM-Dearborn in 2007 after working for 18 years in development and nonprofit management in Indiana, Colorado, California, and Michigan. Her extensive career includes directing programs for large and small nonprofits in health/human services and higher education. As the director of development for the College of Arts, Sciences, and Letters (CASL), Diane works closely with the CASL dean, faculty, staff and administrators on alumni outreach and major and planned gift cultivation. Currently, she serves as the chair of the communications and marketing committee for the Association of Fundraising Professionals Greater Detroit Chapter and an honorary board member of the University of Michigan Alumni Club of Downriver. Diane is also a graduate of the Inforum Center for Executive Leadership Program. Born in Michigan, Diane resides in Riverview with her husband, Carmen, and children Katie, Jesse, and Nick.

Tim joined the development team at UM-Dearborn in 2011 after working for 17 years in various development and nonprofit management positions in Boston, Washington D.C, and metro Detroit. His career includes directing organizational, infrastructure and capital growth, strategic planning and implementation of major fundraising campaigns and development programs while working in human services, health care and higher education. Recently, Tim managed a successful $55 million expansion campaign for the College for Creative Studies in Detroit. Now as the Director of Development for the College of Business (COB), Tim works closely with the university and Dean Lee S. Redding, faculty, staff and volunteers on alumni and community relations, securing strategic resources and major and planned gifts. Tim is a graduate on Leadership Detroit XXVIII and holds several graduate certifications from the Center for Philanthropy at Indiana University. He serves on the non-profit board of St. John's Kids on the Go. Born in Detroit, Tim lives in Grosse Pointe Farms, MI with his wife, Jennifer, and twin daughters Gwen and Julia.

Mary joined the University of Michigan-Dearborn Development team in September 2011 after working in fundraising for the past 5 years at the University of Rochester. During Mary’s time at the University of Rochester, she worked on a broad range of development activities including annual giving programs, volunteer management, and major gift fundraising. Mary started in the central annual giving office working on young alumni programs, student philanthropy, and phone and mail solicitations. After working with volunteer committees for the senior class gift and young alumni council, Mary shifted her focus to reunion giving, where she managed volunteers and executed giving campaigns for all classes from the 5th to post 50th reunions. Mary built great relationships working with volunteers and alumni in reunion classes and solicited them for annual, leadership annual, major, and planned gifts in honor of their reunions. Mary is a 2003 graduate from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor, and is returning home to lead the campus annual fund program and the special projects initiatives for the university. In addition, Mary will provide major gift fundraising support to the UM-Dearborn, School of Education. Mary lives in Ferndale and teaches yoga on campus and at Divine Yoga and Massage in South Lyon.

As a University of Michigan-Dearborn graduate, Amy returned to campus in 2009 after many years of working in development and fundraising specializing in organizational leadership, fund development, event planning, grant writing, volunteer program development and management, and corporate and foundation relations. Amy joined the development team at UM-Dearborn as the director of donor relations and volunteer management. In that position she directed the university annual giving program, the university stewardship program, and the faculty staff campaign. In 2010, Amy became a Major Gifts Officer and added major gift fundraising support for the School of Education to her list of responsibilities. In 2011, Amy became the Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations and Special Projects which soon developed into the Director of the newly formed Business Engagement Center. In her new role, Amy leads the university’s creation of the BEC and serves as the initial contact for corporations seeking specialized services from the university. She also serves as the contact for the State of Michigan’s Corporate Relations Network. Amy resides in Grosse Ile with her husband Tony and their two children. Their son Christopher is a student at UM-Dearborn and next year their daughter Nicole will be a freshman at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
