Fine Art Associates
General Information
The Fine Art Associates is a community of volunteers who support art and cultural activities at the University of Michigan-Dearborn.
Members are invited to serve on committees involved in program and exhibition planning, collections, development, social activities, membership, administrative assistance, art tours, and long range planning.
Fine Art Associates are welcome to participate in all activities of the Art Museum Project and the Alfred Berkowitz Gallery. These include tours, studio classes, exhibitions, lectures, visits to the Gallery's permanent collections, and the opportunity to meet and learn from the visiting artists who come to campus.
The Associates support outreach efforts, extending the reach of art into our communities and bringing new experiences to students, residents, friends, and family. For information, call (313) 593-5058.
Art Tours
Tours have included trips to corporate collections, to private homes, studios and galleries in the region, to the Detroit Institute of Arts, the Scarab Club, the Midland Center for the Arts, and to the Heidelberg Project in Detroit.
