The University of Michigan-Dearborn Early Childhood Education Center (ECEC formerly the Child Development Center), a unit of the School of Education, is a State of Michigan approved education and child care center for young children.  It also serves as a model teacher preparation and child study facility for University students enrolled in a variety of UM-Dearborn education courses.
