Join us for a tour of the campus, a special presentation about UM-Dearborn, and lunch with students.  This is a great opportunity to find out about degree programs, scholarships, financial aid, and the admission process.


Financial Aid Workshop

For High School Seniors and Families

December 1, 2009 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm

This one-day workshop provides an informational session on scholarships, Financial Aid requirements, the Financial Aid process, and special circumstances when applying for Aid.


Symposium on Student Leadership

For High School Juniors

March 6, 2009 9:00am - 2:30pm

This one-day workshop provides a framework for developing leadership skills to help students prepare to become tomorrow’s leaders. It includes interactive workshops on prioritizing, goal setting and resume building. Event runs from 9:30 am - 2:30 pm. and lunch is included. Co-sponsored by UM-Dearborn’s Student Government Association.


Maize & Blue Day

For High School Sophomores, Juniors
and Families

April 18, 2009  2 - 5:30pm

This half-day, spring event provides an inside perspective on attending a top ranked Michigan public university. Find out about the Maize and Blue traditions and attend a college course.


Transitions College Prep Workshop

For High School Students who just completed their Sophomore year
and Parents/Guardians

June 23, 2009  6:00 - 9:00pm

This hands-on workshop provides an excellent opportunity to learn how to write an effective college entrance essay and select the right major. Also, parents can attend workshops on financial aid and job market trends.
