Store Rewards Cards (Ongoing)

ECEC families and the community have three options to donate money through purchases at local stores:

  • Target
  • Gordon Food Service
  • Meijer

Each store offers rewards cards from which the ECEC will receive a percentage of proceeds from purchases.

Party Lite Candles

The ECEC sold Party Lite candles in April 2010.  The Parent Association received $213.50 (50% of the profits).

General Mills Box Tops for Education (Ongoing)

The Box Tops program pays 10 cents for each box top and the funds will go directly to the ECEC.  You have helped the ECEC earn $139 from September to December 2008.  Send your box tops through campus mail or return them to the bin at the ECEC front desk.

Target Take Charge of Education (Ongoing)

Do you shop at Target? If you do, there's an easy way to help raise money for the ECEC. If you have a Target Guest Card, Target will donate 1% of your Target store and target.com purchases made on the Target Guest Card to the ECEC through their School Fundraising program.*

It's easy to participate. Just call the Target School Fundraising hotline at 1-800-316-6142 and give them your Target Guest Card account number and the ECEC's ID# 111135. Let your friends and family know. Anyone in the country who shops at Target can designate our school.

So far, 37 people have designated the ECEC to receive the 1% donation from their Target Guest Card.

If you don't have a Target Guest Card but would like to participate, you can pick up an application at the check out lanes at any Target store, or apply online.

*The Target Guest Card is a credit card issued by Retailers National Bank, an affliliate of Target. Subject to credit approval. Some restrictions apply to 1% donation.

Cookbooks (Ongoing)

In honor of the CDC's 25th Anniversary, the Parent Association prepared a cookbook which includes recipes from past CDC families as well as alumni staff of the CDC and School of Education.  If you would like to purchase a cookbook, please stop by the ECEC front desk with a $10 check made out to the ECEC Parent Association.
