Other Academic Units
The Art Museum Project brings art and culture to the communities served by University of Michigan-Dearborn. The Project supports the Alfred Berkowitz Gallery which showcases an extensive art glass collection. Open to the public, it is located in the Mardigian Library. The Project also works closely with The Fine Art Associates, a community of volunteers who support art and cultural activities at UM-Dearborn.

The Environmental Interpretive Center offers a gateway to one of the most unique natural areas in the Detroit metropolitan area. In collaboration with Friends of the Rouge, EIC supports the Rouge River Bird Observatory, recognized as a leader in its field. The Center offers many school and special programs.
ITS supports the instructional and administrative computing needs at UM-Dearborn. The department is responsible for the campus network, email, web services, Banner student information system, computer labs, and Help Desk.

Institutional Research collects and uses data to provide information in support of University decision making and planning. They fulfill institutional reporting requirements, and provide a variety of consulting services to campus and college level administration and decision makers in pursuit of educational goals.
The library is a student centered environment that fosters learning by providing access to authoritative sources of knowledge and information and by helping students learn critical information and literacy skills and concepts. The library offers online resources that are available round the clock to students at home or abroad.

The Office of Research and Sponsored Programs coordinates all grant matters on the Dearborn campus. They help UM-Dearborn faculty and staff prepare and submit proposals for sponsored programs.
